In the Beginning

Be ready to step back in time for this unique Hands-On learning experience. This history class will touch on multi topic aspects of the 19th century starting with a time line review and ending with a community Founders Day Celebration. Students will have the opportunity to get 'up-close and personal' with nature through the reinactment of life in the 1800's. This class will be held off campus at the Heritage Foundation in La Verne, an authentic historical site which offers the depiction of a 19th century commercial orange grove which at that time was the beginning industry for all of California. Students will learn a variety of knowledge and skills using self discipline, team work and good old fashion fun. Join the journey and we'll see you at the farm.
